AgroCentre Russian epic heroes
Field Day — 2018 was held in the Novosibirsk region. Tulinsky village became a demonstration site for new equipment. AgroCentre presented its bestselling machinery there.
A triplet of tractors, which can be compared with the heroes of Russian folk epics, stood shining against the green field. There is strength, power and endurance in these machines. One of the most innovative tractors attracted visitor’s attention — the unique and powerful Fendt 1046 Vario. This large multi-purpose tractor is used to carry out heavy field work.
‘Fendt 1046 Vario is made on the basis of the latest technical developments,’ says Denis Tyurin, Executive Director of AgroCentreZakharovo for the Siberian region. ‘The tractor is equipped with a unique ProDrive engine with a capacity of 460 hp. with a working speed range from 1100 rpm to 1500 rpm. The infinitely variable transmission and the VarioDrive all-wheel drive system with a range of operating speeds from 0.02 to 60 km/h provide the most efficient use of fuel. Large wheels, an intelligent system of ballasting and tire pressure regulation, independent suspension of the front wheels can reduce the negative impact on soil. The less air there is in the tires, the more air there is in the earth! This is only a part of the advantages of Fendt 1046 Vario.’
The Massey Ferguson 6713 wheeled tractor with a power of 132 hp has also gained the authority of the agrarians and already has a great demand in the market. The rating of the successful Massey Ferguson 8690 tractor with a capacity of 370 hp is not far behind. On the Field Day, guests could see the vehicle in action.
‘We held a demo show of Massey Ferguson 8690 together with the Horsch Tiger 4 MT trailed cultivator,’ continues Denis Tyurin, ‘so that visitors of the exhibition could see the high performance of the tractor with a trailed implement. Horsch Tiger 4 MT is a new model that is produced in Russia and is included in the program Rosagroleasing, so when customers buy the machinery, they can get preferential financing.’
Horsch Tiger 4 MT is an ideal machine for processing corn and sunflower stubbles. It handles dead grain and high-stemmed siderates perfectly.

The event was attended by Andrei Travnikov, Governor of the Novosibirsk Region. He stressed that holding Field days in the region has become a tradition.
