AgroCentre: pronounced debuts and positive mindset

Agrosalon 2018

The tenth anniversary agricultural machinery trade fair Agrosalon 2018 was held on 9-12 October in Crocus Expo in Moscow. The large-scale event drew together thousands of fellow tradesmen to share their best practices, negotiate deals, and, of course, get acquainted with the latest achievements of the world agricultural machinery engineering.

AgroCentre delighted their regular customers and the new-comers with an impressive premiere: the formidable Fendt 1159 MT was displayed in the company’s booth for the first time in Russia. The world premiere of the model took place in Germany at Agritechnica 2017 exhibition last autumn. This time in Moscow, it was surrounded by farmers revealing their keen enthusiasm to it. Photo sessions with the machine in the background and literally “tours”(as the beast is truly immense) of its cab were commonplace all those days.

‘Fendt has always been distinguished for presenting novelties’, comments Nikolay Kunitsyn, AgroCentreLiski Sales Director, ‘and this exhibition is no exception. The new machine is really intriguing. With its high capacity of 592 hp and prominent efficiency the tractor is an excellent solution for large farms with extensive land holdings. It is basically a decent substitution to the far-famed tracked Challenger’.

Fendt 1159 MT is equipped with the AGCO Power Motor drive technology with 16.8 l capacity ensuring improved fuel consumption with maximum torque. The pendulum suspension and four rollers provide for even weight distribution across the entire rolling surface. The machine size is remarkable. Due to its length of just 3m it does not require additional documents for road ride.

‘I would also like to draw your attention to a brand-new Fendt 943 tractor’, adds Sergei Lomantsov, AgroCentreLiski Executive Director. ‘With the capacity of 430 hp it is well ahead of its predecessors — Challenger 765 and Challenger 775. At the same time, it can boast such unique features as hydrostatic transmission and an air-sprung cab. It is a whole new tractor in the segment between the 8th and the 1000th series’.

Apart from the Fendt 1159 MT AgroCentre booth featured the Massey Ferguson 6713 well reputed as a versatile and durable farmer’s magic wand.

‘The machine has been sold in Russia for two years and has gained popularity among people from all over the country’, says Nikolay Kunitsyn. ‘The tractor with the capacity of 130 hp can be used both on small family farms and large industrial ones. It is second to none in its versatility and is suitable for both field work and transportation’.

That is why it still arouses considerable interest. With the conditions and the price policy AGCO provides the tractor sells well and keeps winning clients’ hearts and fields.

‘Our farm is developing rapidly and constantly requires new reliable machinery’, says Vladislav Movsesyan (IP Movsesyan, a sole trader, Kemerovo oblast). ‘We grow cereals, pulses, soya, rape. At present we use Fendt 936 and Challenger 865 on our farm. The workload is substantial. For this reason, the more powerful and efficient our machinery is, the better. That is why the Fendt 1159 MT presented by AgroCentre instantly caught my eye’.

According to Sergei Lomantsov, one of the main objectives of our company’s participation in the exhibition was to discuss with as many clients as possible their plans for provision of new machinery to their enterprises. And this goal was accomplished.

‘We launched a modern dairy at the beginning of the year’, mentioned Maksim Levshunov (Tritikum family farm, Omsk oblast), ‘And I examined AgroCentre booth with a purpose to find machinery for livestock breeding solutions. The company specialists at the booth briefed me on the tractors and their maintenance details. The Fendt 1159 MT is undoubtedly an attractive option for us. I guess when our farm extends its land holding, it could become a really effective solution’.

Agrosalon 2018

Every farmer came to the exhibition to fulfill their individual needs. Some of them already scheduled machinery purchase for spring and discussed the dates, prices, and other conditions with their partners. Many people came to the event just to keep up to date with the latest developments, to look at pros and cons subsequently and finally take a decision. The main thing is that it has been a good season for farmers. They are very optimistic, and they all have the financial capacity to buy new machines. Some of them want a small tractor, others aspire to a more efficient option, but almost all of them plan to renovate their machinery fleet. It means that AgroCentre as a dealership centre and its partners are bound to thrive in the next season.
