Vyshgorodsky Agricultural Production Cooperative has hosted the Ryazan oblast Field Day. AgroCentre presented Horsch machinery at the event — the Tiger 4MT cultivator and the Maestro 16SW planter.

‘The Tiger is a combination model with two rows of discs, tines with a considerable working depth, levelling discs and packers. It is a perfect solution for autumn cultivation’, says Nikolay Kunitsyn, Sales Director at AgroCentreLiski. ‘The model has proven extremely successful for post-harvest residue handling, in particular, maize. It cultivates soil thoroughly in one go. Afterwards you can apply the planter.’

The visitors devoted equal attention to the Maestro planter. The 16-row model was presented at the event. Its substantial working width and a large seed hopper — 9,000 l (a 2,000 l seed waggon and a 7,000 l waggon for fertilisers) — provide for the highest efficiency.

‘The planter features a particularly notable option of setting high pressure on the row units – up to 350 kg’, comments Sergei Lomantsov, AgroCentreLiski Executive Director. ‘It means that farmers can plant in soil with harvest residue, which is of use for many farms. There aren’t many planters of other brands with such a capacity.’

Joker disc harrows and Pronto seed drills became another focus of farmers’ careful attention. The modern, reliable and highly efficient Horsch machinery is gaining more and more influence in the rapidly growing farms.
