Fully armed for the farming season

Machinery. Technology. Innovation. Science. Tyumen Agro 2019, a regional agricultural trade fair, has been held in Tyumen oblast. Shortly before the farming season, AgroCentreZakharovo showcased the most popular, reliable and efficient farm machinery.

Pyshminskaya Dolina exhibition hall in Vinzili village welcomed the agricultural producers from the Ural Federal District. The trade fair offered a particularly intense business programme as well as a wide range of farm machinery. The visitors of the trade show had a chance to see about two hundred units of farm machinery and equipment from eleven Russian regions, Kazakhstan and Belarus.

Oksana Lut, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, attended the trade fair.

‘The Ministry of Agriculture is concerned with the improvements in productivity of the national agricultural producers’, stressed Oksana Lut. ‘I am sure, all the participants of the trade fair will work fruitfully, advance in knowledge and become familiar with the cutting-edge technologies. The Ministry is ready to support you!’

The distinguished guests made a tour of the exhibition and paid a visit to the booth of AgroCentreZakharovo. The range of the items on display was quite impressive. The company demonstrated state-of-the-art farm machinery and equipment, as well as the machines that have already become popular among Russian farmers.

‘The JCB 531-70AGRI telehandler is an all-time favourite, with its Smooth Ride System (SRS) which enhances the smoothness of boom lift and JCB LiveLink remote monitoring system’, relates Ivan Potanin, Manager of Tyumen branch of AgroCentreZakharovo. ‘High reliability and productivity are distinctive features of this machine. There are many implements and attachments available for this model, so it can handle almost any task on a farm.’

AgroCentre also displayed the JCB 535-95 AGRI Super Telehandler, yet another favourite of the farmers. In comparison to the JCB 531-70AGRI, it has increased lift capacity and lift height. The Massey Ferguson 8737S tractor (370 HP) also attracted a lot of attention.

‘The Massey Ferguson 8737S is a follow-up model of the MF 8690 series’, continues Ivan Potanin. ‘The model has been considerably improved. All the key functions are grouped in one Control Command Centre Armrest. The tractor is equipped with a navigation system and stepless transmission.’

The Fendt 933 Profi Plus was also in the centre of attention. This model has earned a good reputation among the farmers of the Ural Federal District. The tractor has a self-levelling independent wheel suspension on front axle and a comfortable cab with active suspension and good sound insulation.

‘The Horsch Tiger 4MT is another unique machine on display. It combines the features of a disc harrow and a cultivator’, says Ivan Potanin. ‘We call it a ‘smart plough’. This three-in-one machine allows for disc harrowing, deep loosening of soil up to 35 cm working depth and additional mixing action, which improves moisture retention.’

AgroCentreZakharovo also demonstrated a unique Trimble navigation system. It supports signals from both GPS and GLONASS satellites. Experienced farmers know that precise data from the satellites can help to operate more efficiently and productively.

Good tyres are indispensable for any powerful machine. According to the dealers, Michelin is a reliable brand. The distinguishing feature of Michelin tyres is their long lifetime, up to 8-12 thousand operating hours. This is almost twice as much as Michelin’s competitors can offer. Farmers are also excited to have the Michelin Promise Plan that includes lifetime warranty for the tyres.

‘Tyumen Agro 2019 is a wonderful place to demonstrate cutting-edge technologies as well as to network and share experience. These opportunities are especially important shortly before the sowing campaign. Supported by our partners and suppliers, we are fully armed for the busy spring season’, concludes Ivan Potanin.
