The 19th Kursk Korenskaya fair has become an important summer event for the regional agricultural producers. This historically significant fair has been uniting spiritual, cultural and economic aspects of Russian life for many years so far. AgroCentre familiarised itself with the history of Kursk area and showcased novelties of agricultural machinery.

JCB, Massey Ferguson, Kverneland, Horsch, Amity are famous manufacturers of agricultural machinery which have gained their reputation among farmers around the globe. Now Kursk farmers can also challenge that machinery.

JCB presented a 531-70 Agri telehandler and a JCB 434 front loader. Those units are extremely popular in Russia. Out of all JCB telehandlers sold in 2018, the demand for the 531-70 Agri amounted to 90%. All those units found their home in our country.

‘The JCB 531-70 Agri is a popular unit purchased by crop growers and livestock farmers’, says Vladimir Manukovskiy, JCB Brand Manager of AgroCentreLiski. ‘The JCB 531-70 Agri front loader is ready to work 24/7. Its maximum lift capacity is 3,100 tonnes and the lift height is 7 metres. The JCB DIESELMAX engine of their own design provides 100 hp.’

Massey Ferguson presented several tractors with engines delivering power from 130 hp to 370 hp.

‘The most popular tractor of the brand is the Massey Ferguson 6713’, shares Aleksey Gushchin, Regional Sales Manager of AGCO. ‘In 2018 we managed to sell about 185 units of the series. The machine is operator-friendly and reliable, has a manual gearbox, an economical 4.4-litre engine. This tractor is versatile, it can perform spraying and cultivating perfectly well, also it can be used for forage harvesting after mounting a loader subframe on it.’

Horsch presented a Joker 8 RT trailed disc harrow.

‘The Joker 8 RT trailed disc harrow is intended for tilling down to 12 cm depth’, relates Aleksandr Shevtsov, Horsch Regional Representative. ‘The harrow’s disc has a diameter of 520 mm and it is 6 mm thick. The machine is suitable for quick stubble cultivation, it ensures intensive crumbling and even seed bed consolidation. The unit also incorporates long straw and difficult residues.’

AgroCentreLiski presented a unique Amity cart for sugar beet growers.

‘The Amity sugar beet cart is used for optimising the combine’s operation and further transportation of the vegetables’, says Dmitriy Trofimov, Amity Business Director for Russia and Kazakhstan. ‘Today it is only us in the market who can offer tracked carts. They reduce soil compaction in autumn during sugar beet harvesting. The cart has a loading device 2.1 metres wide, its performance can reach from 5 to 27 tonnes per minute. When operating at maximum performance, we can unload the hopper in 1.5 minute. The loading device can be mounted either on the left or on the right. It allows to pair the cart with any self-propelled combines.’

The guests were happy with the cordial reception given to them by AgroCentreLiski.

‘The Kursk Korenskaya fair promotes networking and helps to build better business relationships’, says Aleksandr Logvinov, Head of Kursk branch of AgroCentreLiski. ‘Agriculture is gaining pace in our country and producers value their time and money, that is why they keep choosing reliable and quality machinery provided by AgroCentre.’
