Efficient machines for Ural fields

Kurgan branch of AgroCentreZakharovo has taken part in Ural Field Day 2019 held on the premises of the regional agricultural research institute. The event gathered over 500 farmers.

Vadim Shumkov, Acting Governor of Kurgan oblast, started off the meeting with a welcome speech. In the sight of the official, the current situation in the region is distinguished by the favourable conditions for the dynamic growth of the agricultural sector – optimum climate, rich scientific heritage and state-of-the-art technical solutions, which should be more actively implemented in the production process.

As for the innovations, Kurgan branch of AgroCentreZakharovo showcased machines that proved themselves as true all-rounders on numerous farms of the country. In this respect, the updated Massey Ferguson 6713 tractor was introduced to the guests.

‘The new distinctive feature is the 130 hp 4-cylinder AGCO Power engine equipped with the innovative Common Rail system’, says Dmitriy Gerasimenko, Head of Kurgan branch of AgroCentreZakharovo. ‘The electronic fuel system allows to significantly reduce fuel consumption, engine wear and noise as well as to improve the environmental performance of the machine.’

The Massey Ferguson 6713 is fitted with a synchronized transmission (12 forward and 12 reverse gears). The tractor gains speed up to 40 kilometres per hour and tackles efficiently various agricultural tasks.

Besides, the event featured the JCB 531-70, one of the most popular telehandlers in its class in the domestic market. The maximum lifting capacity of the model designed by British development engineers is 3,100 kg, while the maximum lift height is 7m. The JCB 531-70 blends all the benefits — good manoeuvrability, stability, cost efficiency and operator comfort. The attached implements for this machine — a manure-silage grapple and a bucket brush — were also demonstrated at the trade show.
