Recipe for success

From 30 September to 2 October, Belekspocentre hosted an important event – the 25th Interregional BelgorodAgro Trade Fair which brought together machinery suppliers and farm producers from Central Black Earth regions.

AgroCentre annually takes part in BelgorodAgro to showcase unique state-of-the-art agricultural machinery to local farmers. This time, the dealer demonstrated the new, yet in-demand, Massey Ferguson 6713 tractor and the legendary JCB 403 wheel loader.

‘AgroCentre has been operating in Belgorod oblast since 2011’, says Aleksandr Zhukov, Sales Representative of AgroCentreLiski. ‘We have supplied hundreds of reliable modern machines to local agricultural enterprises. Almost every farm has JCB machines, and Massey Ferguson tractors are getting more and more popular.’

Three years ago, the first tractors of AGCO corporation – the Massey Ferguson 6713 – hit the Russian market. The 130 hp model delivers maximum performance with minimum fuel consumption in its class. The tractor is fitted with a reliable four-cylinder 4.4-litre AGCO Power™ turbocharged engine, which makes it perfect for handling any farm task. The transmission has 12 forward and 12 reverse gears. Its under pressure gearbox lubrication ensures the best traction and friction.

‘It was the purchase of a JCB 527 loader that made the start of our cooperation with AgroCentre’, shares Sergey Antonenko, Chief Engineer of Butovo-Agro enterprise, Belgorod oblast. ‘Today we have another JCB 531-70 loader, two Massey Ferguson 6713 and 8737 tractors, as well as a Kverneland baler. The Massey Ferguson self-propelled machines keep doing excellent job on our farm. The 6713 tractor is coupled with a diet feeder, and for two and a half years, it has operated 6,000 engine hours, thus proving itself as a reliable machine. We consider buying one more Massey Ferguson 6713 in the long run.’

The JCB 403 wheel loader is about ease of use and manoeuvrability. The hydrostatic transmission makes it suitable for operation in open areas and in restricted spaces. The machine is equipped with a 1.7-litre Kubota engine delivering 37 hp (28 kW) and a high torque of 106 Nm. Separate motors for each wheel ensure excellent ground clearance and eliminate the need for cardan shafts that are vulnerable to damage. Farmers tend to opt for the JCB 403 wheel loader as its reliability, durability and minimum maintenance requirements make it a real all-rounder.

In the course of the trade fair, agricultural producers had the chance to see cutting-edge high-performance machinery, conclude mutually beneficial contracts and establish partnership relations with suppliers and dealers.

‘Such events give us an excellent opportunity to meet our clients’, continues Sergey Antonenko. ‘Demo shows help take a closer look at machines, and purchase contracts mark the beginning of the cooperation. Thus, we get a recipe for high sales, and trade fairs play a major role in achieving success.’
