Reliable machines on every farm

Over 200 companies doing business in the farming sector of Siberia, the Far East, the central part of Russia and the CIS countries have taken part in the largest international exhibition Siberian Agricultural Week 2021. The event was held on 10-12 November in Novosibirsk and attracted 7,000 guests.

AgroCentreZakharovo is an exhibition veteran as it participates in this major event in the Urals every year. This time, the dealer has presented self-propelled vehicles to agricultural producers – the Massey Ferguson 6713, the Valtra T194 RedLine tractors and the Horsch Leeb 5 LT trailed sprayer.

The Valtra T194 RedLine with its Scandinavian might came on the Russian market in 2019. This model is fitted with all the essential equipment for work in the harsh Siberian climate and adverse operating conditions, which makes it an optimal solution when an appropriate budget is allocated.

‘The Valtra T194 RedLine comes with the 7.4 litre AGCO Power engine delivering 195 hp. The 5-step PowerShift transmission with load sensing developed by the manufacturer features 30 speeds in both directions and mechanical hydraulic controls’, comments Anton Bliznyuk, Head of Novosibirsk branch of AgroCentreZakharovo.

One of the components of a winning combination including the AGCO Power engine and the PowerShift 5PS transmission is the hydraulics system, which varies efficiency depending on the load. It consists of a hydraulic pump with a capacity of 115 l/min and features separate oils for the transmission and the hydraulics.

The Massey Ferguson 6713 tractor needs no introduction. In Siberia, the self-propelled machine is in high demand from both big holdings and small farming enterprises. With a broad range of trailed implements, the versatile unit can operate in the field or on a farm, perform general works and come in handy at construction sites. It delivers from 70 to 130 hp ensuring maximum efficiency with minimum fuel consumption in its class.

‘Our interaction with AgroCentreZakharovo has begun just recently, when we purchased the Massey Ferguson 6713. We used the machine in the sowing campaign and in the fields in summer. This tractor offers high efficiency with optimum fuel consumption. We may buy more Massey Ferguson units in the future, as they will be perfect substitutes for our outdated machinery’, points out Ivan Datsiy, Nadezhda enterprise Director, Novosibirsk oblast.

The Horsch Leeb 5LT trailed sprayer at the AgroCentreZakharovo booth piqued the visitors’ curiosity. It takes roughly nine minutes to fill its 5,000-litre tank at a speed of 600 l/min and the machine is ready for operation.

‘The 36-metre-wide booms have multi-function nozzles allowing to apply plant protection agents at a speed of up to 25 km/h. Sensors distributed over the entire boom scan soil and ensure terrain following. The back steering axis and a continuous cleaning system come as standard on the machine. Besides, the stainless-steel centrifugal pump installed on the Horsch Leeb 5LT allows farmers to work with aggressive chemicals’, continues Anton Bliznuyk.

Year after year, exhibitions and field events boost the demand for state-of-the-art agricultural vehicles in the Siberian Federal District. In 2020, enterprises in Novosibirsk oblast purchased 2,121 units of farm machinery and equipment for a total of eight billion rubles. Already this season, the new tractors and sprayers got down to work in the fields and became excellent tools for harvesting a bumper crop – over 3,480,000 tonnes, which beats the record of the year 2009.
