Farming ‘gurus’ work in the Urals

The Field Day in Chelyabinsk oblast was a large-scale event, which revealed a good demand for farming machines.

‘Technical re-equipment of our farmers is intensively underway’, says Boris Dubrovsky, Governor of Chelyabinsk oblast. ‘If last year the regional farmers invested into machinery 870 million rubles, this year, the investments have already reached 100 million.’ AgroCentreZakharovo demonstrated state-of-the-art solutions for all types of fieldwork. Actually, the majority of the exhibits were borrowed from the clients: the machines had been purchased even before the start of the trade show. Among these units was the Massey Ferguson 8690 (370 hp), purchased by Krasnoarmeyskoye LLC.

‘This machine was assembled in Russia’, says Sergey Chichyay, Head of the Chelyabinsk Office of AgroCentrZakharovo. ‘Very soon, the tractor will be included into the programme of governmental subsidising.’

Asylbek Erekenov, Director of Krasnoarmeyskoe LLC, shared his impressions about the Massey Ferguson machine.

‘It can be used for a wide range of farming tasks’, says Asylbek. ‘Powerful, reliable, operator-friendly! This is the best option of all the tractors on offer.’

The JCB 531-70 telescopic loader was also very popular with the farmers. The reason is not only its versatility: the farming producers were very interested in the leasing offer at zero appreciation. Moreover, the price of the British machines is fixed in rubles.

The traditional demo show gave a spectacular finishing touch to the Field Day.

AgroCentre presented the farmer’s dream – the Fendt 936 Vario (370 hp) tractor with the Challenger Sunflower 1435-30 disc harrow, a model of reliability – in action. The implement worked weed-filled soil immaculately evenly, without any ridges or grooves.

It was long before the exhibits could return to the booth: there was a significant queue of people impatient to try the most comfortable tractor in action.
