Kverneland in action

In early September, Penza branch of AgroCentreZakharovo arranged a series of demos in regional enterprises to introduce local farmers to the scope of operations that the latest machine models are capable of performing.

Among others, the Kverneland ploughs were tested in action. One of them underwent a trial in Romashka Farm Enterprise (Kulikovka, Penza oblast).

‘We tested an 8-body plough coupled to our tractor’, says Vladimir Makushkin, Head of enterprise, ‘and we were quite happy with the result. For comparison, we'd also like to try out a 7-body model of the same brand soon — it might be a better fit for our machine.’

It is noteworthy that one of Kverneland’s corporate secrets is its unique steel production and heat treatment technology which lends the equipment unsurpassed wear resistance. The centre-mounted wheel facilitates ploughing along fences, and the unique headstock ensures minimum turning circle. These and many other design features of the Kverneland ploughs not only enhance their performance, but also make them handy due to compatibility with various tractors.
