Challenger SB36 Balers
Challenger SB36 is a baler for compact bales. This combination is ideal for high outputs and showcases class leading performance and quick field to transport times.
The baler construction incorporates eight sealed ball-bearing plunger rollers; a total of four tine bars and 112 tines on the pickup; a six-ball twine box and a torque limiter on the pickup assembly. The knitters are designed and built for reliable operation at minimum downtime season after season.
The baler features a unique ‘center line’ design allowing the crop to flow quickly through the baler in a straight line, starting from the pickup and finishing with the compression chamber chute.
Optional extras include:
• A hydraulic pickup lift is available for fast field change and avoiding obstacles.
• A hydraulic bale density system can be specified to give flexibility on bale consistency and density.
• A drawbar is available for attaching bale sledges easily and in the right place.
