Kostroma land – the novelties and many other things

AgroCentreZakharovo has taken part in Kostroma Village Day. It took place in Karavaevo village (Kostroma district). The company presented a number of modern agricultural machines to the guests and the participants with the new Massey Ferguson 4708 tractor among others.

‘The model is generally aimed for livestock farming enterprises, where it can be used for feed distribution,’ says Viktor Ovchinnikov, Head of Yaroslavl branch of AgroCentreZakharovo. ‘The tractor height is 2.6 m, so it is well suitable for the farms with low gate. The machine is equipped with a 3-cylinder AGCO POWER engine (85 hp) with an innovative Common Rail fuel injection system. It is designed to save a substantial amount of fuel, reduce machinery ware and therefore the maintenance costs. Thus, environmental footprint of the tractor is reduced, while its efficiency is improved.’

Massey Ferguson 7622, a more powerful counterpart of the previously mentioned model, has also been displayed at the event. Under the bonnet, the tractor boasts 215 hp engine, which allows it to fulfill almost any agricultural need. Dyna-6 transmission is used in almost all the 7600 series machines. It ensures high torque at low engine revolutions, while the rear mounting structure is distinctive for its enhanced weight lifting capacity of up to 9950 kg. Compared with the previous generation of this machine, the cooling system in this model is 18% more efficient. MultiPad joystick enables the operator to control the tractor and the implement with comfort.

Another machine which awakened interest from the guests is Kverneland Exacta CL1300 spreader.

‘Despite its average dimensions, the model can be complemented with the options which the large spreaders are packed with: ExactLine system for fertilizer application along the field boundary, parking frame, LED lamps, hopper extensions,’ says Andrey Kirillov, Regional Representative at Kverneland Group CIS. ‘Exacta CL series machines spread fertilisers along the distance of up to 28 m. They are equipped with CentreFlow system.’

The spreader can be operated hydraulically and electronically right from the cab by means of Exacta Remote II.
