Challenger in focus

Starting this year, AgroCentre is an official dealer of the Challenge Company, one of the leaders in the production of self-propelled farming equipment.

The Challenger brand began to develop rapidly in March 2002, when AGCO Corporation acquired a line of famous Challenger tractors from the Caterpillar Company, after which it expanded the product range to a complete array of highly productive agricultural machines.

"Today, Challenger manufactures both wheeled and caterpillar tractors, self-propelled seeders, and bale and roll pickers," says Aleksey Gushchin, AGCO Machinery Company's regional sales manager. "The equipment is manufactured at factories in France, the USA, the Netherlands and Brazil. It has won the trust of farmers in Europe, Africa and the Middle East."

AgroCentre will supply the Russian market with a complete product range of the Challenger self-propelled machines. Those include wheeled and caterpillar tractors, featuring 80 to 510 hp capacity, grain combine harvesters, self-propelled sprayers, mowers, soil treatment machines and trailed equipment.

"Challenger is one of the leaders in the production of agricultural equipment," says Nikolay Ivanishchev, Director General of the AgroCentre-Holding LLC. “The company offers farmers reliable and highly productive machines. This type of equipment minimises farming risks and increases the production output. Our job is to supply the farmers with efficient tools and high quality servicing.”

AgroCentre will supply equipment to the Kursk, Belgorod, Moscow, Vladimir, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Ivanovo, Tyumen, Kurgan and Chelyabinsk regions as well as to the Republic of Mari El.

In August, AGCO plans to hold a large-scale Field Day in the Tula region at which it will demonstrate Challenger machines. Thus, the farmers will be able to see with their own eyes how the equipment operates.
