Massey Ferguson Comes Out on Yaroslavl Fields

The level of agriculture development is to a large extent determined by technologies, equipment, and machinery available. All the latest technologic innovations and sales hits were displayed at the Field Day event in Yaroslavl region, which took place in the fields of Pakhma Agricultural Firm for the second year running. Manufacturers and suppliers of machinery and equipment presented about 150 units of modern state-of-the-art machinery for soil cultivation, hay&forage, and harvesting.

- It is good to realize that over a half of the machines presented here already belong to our agricultural producers, - remarked Mikhail Borovitsky, Chairperson of the Yaroslavl State Duma, in his greeting speech, - It proves that, despite all hardships, the industry is developing. Our agricultural producers do find opportunities to get reequipped increasing, thus, their wealth and efficiency of the operations.

AgroCentre Company demonstrated a wide range of agricultural equipment and machinery from the leading global suppliers: AGCO, JCB, Väderstad, Einböck, Sсhulte, Strautmann. Some machines are well-familiar to agricultural producers of Yaroslavl region, others have turned out to be a real revelation and aroused an unprecedented interest.

- This year AgroCentre Company has started to promote Massey Ferguson (AGCO) tractor line on the Russian market. – says Yevgeny Lukyanov, Head of the Yaroslavl branch office of AgroCentrZakharovo Company. – The line introduces absolute novelties to the Russian market – 8000, 7000 and 400 series Massey Ferguson wheeled tractors from 120 to 400 hp. These models are noted for their performance, operation simplicity and reliability.

None of the European producers has received as many awards in recent years as Massey Fergusson. In 2012, the 8 series Massey Fergusson was recognized as the Tractor of the Year in Europe. Vasily Fingeyev (Krasny Mayak Farm Enterprise), a long-standing partner of AgroCentre Company, has purchased a compact Massey Ferguson 470 Xtra, 120 hp, for the new season directly from Brasil.

- An excellent tractor! – shares his impressions Vasily Finogeyev. – We have bought it to pull our new 18 cubic meter mixer wagon. AgroCentre offered a very good bargain. I am so satisfied with both the price and quality of the machine. The operating time in three months amounts to around 3,000 running hours. And not a single breakdown even under such pressure. Now Vasily Finogeyev is considering bringing out “big guns” - buying a Challenger tracked tractor with Väderstad Top Down. According to Aleksey Grigoryev, Executive Director of AgroCentreZaharovo Company, along with the new brand promoted, wheeled Challenger tractors (on sale for next 1.5 years), customers’ favourite 7 and 8 series crawlers, as well as Challenger windrowers, sprinklers, and hay & forage equipment are still available to the customers of AgroCentre Company.

For convenience and maximum efficiency, the Company offers a number of financial solutions for purchasing machinery including leasing programmes from ACGO Finance and JCB-Leasing. It gives a producer a perfect opportunity to get a machine and start operating it immediately at the minimum initial installment.

During the on-field demonstration, the participants observed an advanced technology of planting corn under a film made of a special degradable polymer. The planter, which arrived from Krasny Mayak Enterprise already employing this technology, was attached to a brand new Massey Ferguson 7624. The ‘couple’ looked good together in the field and delivered splendid performance in planting speed and following the contours of the ground. At the end, the host of the event Sergey Ivanov, Director of Pakhma Agricultural Firm, thanked everybody for participation and summarized:

- This Field Day shows that today agricultural machinery cannot be estimated just in terms of a price, but one should also pay attention to the performance and comfort in the first place to make people eager to operate it. As we know, a cheapskate pays twice. And a tractor driver should be really multifunctional in the true sense of this word, as such state-of-the-art machinery should be operated by highly intelligent people.
