Climate sets the rules

Agricultural producers of the Lipetsk oblast and the Central Black-Soil region celebrated the arrival of autumn at LipetskAgro – 2015 Expo.

At the opening ceremony, Nikolay Tagintsev, Deputy Head of the Administration of the oblast, said that the agricultural sector of the Lipetsk oblast had been significantly upgraded over the past decades. All farming enterprises have changed their approach to development, now putting more trust into science and modern technologies. The rich harvests of the Lipetsk fields result from the use of high-yielding varieties and hybrids as well as modern sowing and tillage machinery.

Sergey Lomantsov, Executive Director of AgroCentrLiski, also commented on the high level of modernization on Lipetsk farms.

‘The Investment climate in the Lipetsk oblast is quite favorable, which leads to the high level of modernization. The local authorities do their best to develop the farming sector, and it is definitely making rapid progress. You can easily see it even today at the exhibition. We have brought over 10 machines, and there are many new models among them. All machines are in high demand!

One of the most interesting models presented this year at AgroCentreLiski’s exposition was Opus 600 (6 m working width) manufactured by Vaderstad, the leading manufacturer of sowing and tillage machinery.

‘This implement is more powerful than TopDown, its predecessor. It can work down to the depth of 40 cm’, says Nikolay Demidov, Head of the Lipetsk branch of AgroCentreLiski. ‘The wide range of shins and points make this cultivator a real work horse. With a tine spacing of 27 cm and a soil clearance of 80 cm, the cultivator can handle large amounts of harvest residues while keeping the draught requirement moderate.’

Three AGCO tractors, Fendt 933 Vario Plus (330 hp), Challenger MT 585D (220 hp), and Massey Ferguson 8690 (370 hp) lined up at AgroCentreLiski stand like the Three Bogatyrs.

‘These machines differ in their power and technical characteristics, but there is one thing bringing them together – it is the powerful and cost-effective engine’, says Alexey Gushchin, Regional Manager of AGCO company. ‘The economic efficiency of these machines has been proved by numerous trials. Moreover, the experience of Russian agricultural producers shows, there is a significant cost reduction! At least ten percent!

During the field demonstration, all the guests were captivated by the ‘duet’ of the Challenger MT865C, track tractor and the Challenger 1435-30, 9 m single-disc harrow.

‘This tractor is a worldwide legend’, says Nikolay Demidov. ‘This machine is powerful and reliable but gentle with the soil. It can be used for all kinds of fieldwork, including those performed at the moment. The tractor is suitable for all tillage types.’

The guests of the exhibition thanked the specialists of AgroCentreLiski for the modern dealership center in Khlevnoe village.

‘We are completely satisfied with the aftersales service level’, says Vladimir Levchenko, Head of the Engineering Service of Cherkizovo group. ‘We have been working with this company for years and we intend to continue our cooperation. The company fulfils all our requests promptly and in due time! It is remarkable that AgroCentreLiski meets the expectations not only before acquisition of the machines but also after that.’
